Assessment of colorimetric, antibacterial and antifungal properties of woollen yarn dyed with the extract of the leaves of henna (Lawsonia inermis)

The results indicate that extract of leaves of henna can be applied on woollen yarns to produce colored clothings and textiles (sportswear, clothings for hospitals and babies) with semidurable antimicrobial properties.
