Prediction of wax deposition problems of hydrocarbon production system

► Flow-loop system was constructed to simulate wax deposition in production tubing. ► An empirical model was developed for predicting wax deposition. ► The model exhibited good prediction ability in comparison with laboratory measurements. ► Comparison of results gave good indications for the behavior of the present model. ► Advanced neural network was linked with wax deposition.
