Channel flux-antiflux instability in type-II superconductors

► We considered the flux-antiflux dynamics in one dimensional channel in type-II superconductors. ► We study the conditions of the front instability for various thermal parameters. ► We calculate the voltage-current characteristics. ► We obtained the step-like shape of the voltage-current characteristics detected in experiment.
