Interpretation of transmission through type II superconducting thin film on dielectric substrate as observed by laser thermal spectroscopy

► An analysis of THz properties of superconducting film in magnetic field is given. ► Transmission of anisotropic double-layer is calculated for different polarizations. ► Vortices are treated using Clem model as cylindrical normal state inclusions. ► Phenomenological model of behavior of SC thin film in magnetic field is used. ► A new method of studying vortex matter utilizing linear polarization is suggested.
