Superconducting state in a mesoscopic segment ring

► We study the formation of vortices in a mesoscopic superconducting segment ring. ► We have found an analytical expression from the magnetization as a function of the segment width. ► We have studied the influence of the segment width and angle width on the vortex matter, magnetization and third thermodynamic critical field.
