Energy scales in YBaCuO grain boundary biepitaxial Josephson junctions

► Effects on transport of mesoscopic channels across grain boundaries are identified. ► An estimate of Thouless energy in YBCO self protected nanochannels is obtained. ► We find evidence of the minigap in resistance oscillations.
