Morphology and superconducting properties of photo-assisted MOCVD processed YBCO film by variation of sublimation temperature of the Cu-based precursor

► A simple processing technique is found to eliminate surface outgrowths on c-axis YBCO films prepared by photo-assisted MOCVD. ► An analysis about the possible cause of formation for these surface outgrowths. ► Effect of this selected surface outgrowth elimination technique to Jc of these kind of YBCO epitaxial films.
