Strong decays of 2S and 1D1−DS

Reference on systematic study of strong decays of Ds mesons and reference on the interpretation of Ds1(2700) and DsJ(2860) are briefly reviewed. Different results on Ds1(2700) and DsJ(2860) in existing literature within the P03 model are introduced. The strong decays of radially excited 23S1 and orbitally excited 13D1 charmed-strange 1− mesons are studied within the P03 model. Mixing between the radially excited 23S1 and the orbitally excited 13D1 is explored. Possible interpretations of Ds1(2700) and DsJ(2860) in the case of pure states and in the case of mixed states are made. Our results indicate that the interpretations of these two 1−Ds depend on whether there is mixing or not. The mixing detail depends on the ways of the choices of the harmonic oscillator parameter β.
