Cross-talk between NR4A orphan nuclear receptors and β-catenin signaling pathway in osteoblasts

► The Wnt/β-catenin and NR4A receptors are important regulators of osteoblast function. ► Cross-talk between the β-catenin pathway and NR4A receptors was observed in osteoblasts. ► NR4A receptors repressed β-catenin-mediated transactivation and the expression of Axin2. ► β-Catenin inhibited the transcriptional activity of NR4A receptors.
