Metabolic pathways for the degradation of phosphatidic acid in isolated nuclei from cerebellar cells

► An active PtdOH metabolism involving LPP, DAGL and PtdOH-selective PLA activities in cerebellar nuclei is demonstrated. ► Specific PtdOHphospholipase A1 and PtdOH-phospholipase A2 were detected in nuclei. ► A signalling process generated by and derived from PA in the nuclear function is demonstrated.
