Monitoring of unfractionated heparin with rotational thrombelastometry using the prothrombinase-induced clotting time reagent (PiCT®)

► Evaluation of a new point-of-care applicable ROTEM® test for monitoring of UFH. ► PiCT®-ROTEM® combines global hemostatic testing with measurement of anti-Xa activity. ► In vitro a strong and highly significant correlation to UFH concentration is shown.
