Early postnatal changes of lipoprotein subclass profile in late preterm infants

► The postnatal changes in lipoprotein of late preterm infants were different from in term infants. ► Greater increases in cholesterol of medium, large VLDL were demonstrated. ► However, increases in cholesterol of medium, large LDL and HDL were smaller. ► TG was not different in each VLDL subclass compared to term infants. ► Lipid nutritional support in late preterm may contribute to improve the late sequel.
