Evaluation of revisited fucosylated alpha-fetoprotein (AFP-L3) with an autoanalyzer μTAS in a clinical laboratory

► We assessed performances of AFP and AFP-L3 by the newly developed analyzer μTAS. ► Imprecision of AFP and AFP-L3 assays by the μTAS was all within 5% CV. ► AFP-L3 showed better diagnostic performance for hepatocellular carcinoma than AFP. ► The μTAS showed good performances for routine uses in measuring AFP and AFP-L3.
