- ROS mediate NF-κB activation and IL-8 induction in DSCR1-transfected cells.
- Antioxidant NAC or a calcium chelator BAPTA inhibits increment of ROS.
- Reducing ROS levels may be beneficial for preventing DS-associated inflammation.
