Live-cell imaging of endogenous Ras-GTP shows predominant Ras activation at the plasma membrane and in the nucleus in Saccharomyces cerevisiae

► The eGFP-RBD3 probe is used to localize active Ras in yeast. ► Ras-GTP accumulates at the PM and in the nucleus in glucose growing cells. ► Gpa2 and Hxk2 are involved in the proper localization of active Ras.
