Hepatoprotective effect of fucoidan isolated from the seaweed Turbinaria decurrens in ethanol intoxicated rats

Fucoidan from T. decurrens improved the antioxidant status of alcoholic rats, which is evaluated by the decreased levels of lipid peroxidation markers and increased level of enzymatic antioxidants were observed in liver.
