Immobilization of β-galactosidase on modified polypropilene membranes

► 13 Different chemical modified polypropylene membranes were obtained. ► β-Galactosidase was immobilized on all chemical modified membranes. ► Hexamethylenediamine gives the highest effective immobilized β-galactosidase. ► The influence of alcohols on the activity of immobilized enzyme was studied.
