Purification and characterization of an antioxidant glycoprotein from the hydrolysate of Mustelus griseus

► A glycoprotein (Fraction AIV-2) was separated from the Mustelus griseus hydrolysate. ► Partial chemical and structural properties of the glycoprotein were determined. ► The antioxidant activity of the glycoprotein was investigated. ► The glycoprotein may have potential applications in the medical and food industries.
