Synthesis and biological evaluation of novel 6-substituted analogs of 1α,25-dihydroxy-19-norvitamin D3

▸ 6-Substituted 19-norcalcitriol analogs were synthesized by Suzuki-Miyaura coupling. ▸ Biological activity of 6-substituted 19-nor-1α,25-(OH)2D3 analogs was investigated. ▸ Presence of substituent at C-6 impairs binding affinity of 19-norvitamin D to VDR.
