Involvement of serotonin receptor subtypes in the antidepressant-like effect of beta receptor agonist Amibegron (SR 58611A): An experimental study

► Amibegron exerted antidepressant-like effects which was as effective as imipramine. ► Amibegron interacted with serotonin receptor subtypes. ► WAY- 100635, ondansetron, ketanserin alone had no effect on immobility time in mice. ► Amibegron did not alter locomotor activity in the open field test.
