The effects of the 5-HT3 receptor antagonist tropisetron on cocaine-induced conditioned taste aversions

► Low and intermediate doses of tropisetron failed to induce CTAs. ► The high dose of tropisetron induced an aversion, but only on a two-bottle test. ► Tropisetron at all doses did not affect food consumption. ► Cocaine induced dose-dependent aversions that were unaffected by tropisetron. ► The intermediate dose of tropisetron appeared to potentiate cocaine aversions.
