Insulin-like peptide 3 stimulates testosterone secretion in mouse Leydig cells via cAMP pathway

► INSL3 stimulates testosterone and cAMP secretion from mouse Leydig cells. ► Addition of INSL3 antagonists reduced INSL3-stimulated testosterone secretion. ► Adenylate cyclase inhibition reduced INSL3 effects on testosterone secretion. ► INSL3 stimulation of testosterone secretion is exerted via the activation of cAMP.
