Quantitative glycan profiling of normal human plasma derived immunoglobulin and its fragments Fab and Fc

► Quantitative glycan profiles of human IgG and its Fc-Fab portions are reported. ► Fab profile including the sialylated glycans is established for the first time. ► Fab profile contained highly sialylated and small amount of high-mannose glycans. ► Fc specific endoglycosidase S did not cleave the glycans with bisecting GlcNAc. ► Simple strategy for quantitative profiling of Fc and Fab glycans is described.
