Patient' satisfaction depends on the gap between patient' expectation and reality. Satisfaction is wrongly and incompletely evaluated by visual analog scales and questions such as “are you satisfied?”. The E-Satis questionnaire elaborated by the French Health Care Agency (HAS) is not validated. There is a difference in between healthcare performance and patient appreciation of the quality of care. EVAN-G and EVAN-LR questionnaires are more appropriate and reliable tools for patient satisfaction evaluation.
