چکیده انگلیسی
Consumers' practices and motives are heterogenous, but the dietary profiles integrating consumption and production origins are poorly described. Consumptions (organic and conventional) were assessed in 28,245Â individuals from the NutriNet-Santé cohort. Food choice motives scores were calculated for 9Â dimensions. A typology was built and allows identify 5Â consumer groups: a group with low energy and micronutrients intakes and low organic consumption; a group of great eaters with low organic consumption and high saturated fat and cholesterol intakes; a group with high organic consumption and good nutritional quality; a group of individuals with a very high organic consumption and a very good nutritional quality, highly motivated by “ethics/environment” and “health” aspects; a group with low organic consumption, a diet rich in protein and alcohol, not motivated by the “health” aspects. The “taste” remains the main motivation. These results shed new light on the diversity of consumer profiles. The findings also argue for the integration of a variety of profiles in the development of strategies to promote sustainable food consumption.
