Anterolaterale Rotationsinstabilitäten - Wann und wie adressieren?

Anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) deficiency results in anterolateral rotatory instability. Despite anatomic ACL reconstruction, a subset of patients suffers from persistent anterolateral rotatory instability. To treat patients with persistent anterolateral rotatory laxity, lateral extra-articular procedures might be beneficial for some patients if indicated properly. A common lateral extra-articular procedure is the modified Lemaire-reconstruction. In this article, the technique as well as potential indications for such a procedure will be discussed.
