Evaluation of the fluid responsiveness in patients with septic shock by ultrasound plus the passive leg raising test

Doppler ultrasound evaluation of VVpeakbrach and ΔVpeakPLR could be a feasible method for the noninvasive assessment of fluid responsiveness in mechanically ventilated patients with severe sepsis or septic shock. The combination of two indicators can improve the predictive value.
