The Ricci soliton equation and the structure of homogeneous Gödel-type spacetimes

We completely determine the solutions to the Ricci soliton equation among homogeneous Gödel-type metrics. Investigating the properties of these solutions, we also obtain some new insights on the structure of these spacetimes.
