Coévolution entérique et psychoaffective. Dialogues et perspectives

Recent discoveries about the enteric “brain” bring to the forefront of the unconscious comprehension somatic aspects that allow for additional analogies while providing evidence of psychosomatic coevolution. Examination of the literature seems to demonstrate the close links between the enteric nervous system, microbiota and early relationships; these links put on the trail of the necessary diversity of contacts during development that recalls the place of the Other in psychoanalysis, its protective and organizing function. Psychiatric illnesses correlated with microbiote dysfunctions support the thesis of the body-psyche indissociability. In the psychoanalytic and scientific perspective, the hypothesis of an enteric and psycho-affective coevolution raises a set of questions of a theoretical, technical and epistemological nature which are briefly evoked in order to feed the debate and the confrontation with various perspectives.
