چکیده انگلیسی
This article reviews the distinct intervention models in specific language impairments (SLI). Although a general classification that differentiates between formal and functional perspectives has traditionally prevailed, more detailed classifications are essential. Therefore, the present article proposes a classification based on developmental criteria, distinguishing between models related to the acquisition of oral language and those focused on language and literacy. More research to determine the efficacy of the distinct intervention options is required. All of the above should be understood in the context of the need to encourage speech and language therapists to use evidence-based practice in order to provide them with programs, strategies and data from research, which would enable them to use high-quality resources in their daily work.
