Dietary phosphatidylcholine alleviates fatty liver induced by orotic acid

Dietary PC appears to alleviate the OA-induced hepatic steatosis and hepatomegaly, mainly through the attenuation of hepatic TG synthesis and enhancement of fatty acid β-oxidation in Sprague-Dawley rats.
