Effects of thickened beverages fortified with inulin on beverage acceptance, gastrointestinal function, and bone resorption in institutionalized adults

Inulin was incorporated into thickened beverages, with no decrease in acceptability; when consumed, perceived stool output increased in residents of long-term care facilities.
