Les micronodules pulmonaires: classification et orientation diagnostique

Micronodules are frequently seen in thoracic pathology and being detected more often since the advent of MDCT and multiplanar images, and the use of MIP techniques. Micronodules are classified in three groups, according to their topography within the secondary pulmonary lobule: centrolobular (bronchiolary), peri lymphatic and from hematogenous distribution (called “at random”). Each group corresponds to very specific pathologies. Understanding their topographical classification allows, with the comparison to the clinical data, can be a useful guide to best the etiologic diagnosis.
