Whiplash syndrome-An overview

Whiplash syndrome is a disorder frequently seen with motor vehicle crashes. This article discusses the diagnosis, management and treatment guidelines for the whiplash associated syndrome. The mechanism of injury thought to produce the signs and symptoms of whiplash are discussed and a management algorithm is presented.
