Foreign direct investment from developing Asia: some distinctive features

This paper finds that, compared to foreign direct investment (FDI) from developed OECD countries, FDI from East and Southeast Asian developing economies exhibits several distinctive features-it is less sensitive to host-country income, and attenuated more rapidly with distance.
