Exact and explicit solutions of higher-order nonlinear equations of Schrödinger type

New exact solutions for the higher-order nonlinear Schrödinger equation and coupled higher-order nonlinear Schrödinger equations are obtained by using the generalized Jacobi elliptic function method. Solutions in the limiting cases are also studied.
