Thermal and X-ray diffraction studies on Na2MoO4, Na2Mo2O7 and Na2Mo4O13

Differential thermal analysis and high temperature X-ray diffraction studies were carried out on Na2MoO4, Na2Mo2O7 and Na2Mo4O13 to study the phase transitions in the compounds. X-ray diffraction data of all the high temperature phases were indexed. The thermal expansion behaviour of Na2MoO4, Na2Mo2O7 and Na2Mo4O13 was determined as a function of temperature.
