												Europium bisphthalocyanine (EuPc2) films comprised of one-dimensional (1D) organic nanowires were obtained by the electrophoretic deposition (EPD) method from the mixed solution of chloroform and trifluoroacetic acid containing the protonated EuPc2. The dependence of structure and morphology on the concentration of the electrodepositon solution (CEuPc2) and deposition time (Td) was followed by X-ray diffraction (XRD), UV-vis absorption and SEM. UV-vis spectra uncovered that the EuPc2 molecules tended to form H-aggregates in the growth process of the 1D nanowires. The growth of 1D organic nanowires could be controlled by tuning deposition parameters of CEuPc2 and Td. The film growth mechanism during the electrophoretic deposition process was discussed as well.
