We investigate anti-resonances in the conductance of a ferromagnetic lead with a side-coupled quantum dot resulting from interference between a resonant and a nonresonant path through the system. The transport properties of electrons are derived in Coulomb blockade regime by the use of the equivalent single-particle multi-channel network and Landauer formula. At finite temperature the calculated values of the conductance versus the gate voltage exhibit a series of anti-resonant conductance dips, which are dependent on the temperature and the exchange field on the ferromagnetic lead. It is found that the shape of anti-resonance profile is sensitive to the strength of coupling between the quantum dot and the ferromagnetic lead.
