Trends in experimental studies of exotic nuclei

A review of recent experimental studies of exotic nuclei is presented. During last years, many interesting experiments were performed in this field. Some of the topics stand out in comparison with other experiments as being the most hot or sometimes problematic, and such selected topics are reviewed.
