Neutrino Factory R&D in the U.S.

We report recent U.S. R&D progress on neutrino factory studies since last International Neutrino Factory Workshop. Our R&D programs cover wide range of research areas which include targetry, muon cooling hardware development, acceleration and simulations of intense muon beams. These programs are integrated well with international R&D programs for neutrino factory studies and the International Muon Ionization Experiment (MICE) at Rutherford Appleton Laboratory (RAL), U.K.
