Microvessel density does not predict outcome in high grade soft tissue sarcoma

Unlike the majority of previous studies involving various types of carcinoma, there was no correlation between microvessel density and metastasis or survival in a group of patients with large (>5 cm), deep, high grade soft tissue sarcoma.
