Fabrication of Cu-doped cerium oxide nanofibers via electrospinning for preferential CO oxidation

►A novel Cu-doped cerium oxide nanofibers catalyst has been successfully prepared via electrospinning. ►The Cu-doped cerium oxide nanofibers catalyst has higher surface area, smaller size, and more highly dispersed Cu2+ ions compared with particle-like one. ►The special fiber-like nanostructure can improve the catalytic performance of CuO-CeO2 catalysts compared with particle-like catalyst.
