Electrochemistry in large unilamellar vesicles. The distribution of 1-naphthol studied by square wave voltammetry

► NPh behavior was investigated in LUV using square wave voltammetry. ► The NPh electrochemical response allows proposing a model to explain the experimental results. ► Through the model the NPh partition constant and the diffusion coefficient, DLUV, for the LUV are obtained. ► Electrochemistry is a powerful tool to investigate nonionic molecules embedded in confined media.
