چکیده انگلیسی
► Metallo (Mn, Co, VO) phthalocyanines bearing peripheral 2-naphthoxy-groups were synthesized by cyclotetramerisation of the corresponding phthalonitrile derivative. ► Incorporation of the redox active metal ions into the phthalocyanine core extends the redox capabilities of the Pc ring. ► The presence of O2 in the electrolyte system influences both oxygen reduction reaction and the electrochemical and spectral behaviors of the complexes. ► Homogeneous catalytic ORR process occurs via an “inner sphere” chemical catalysis process.
