Electrochemical behavior of a glassy-carbon electrode chemically modified with cadmium pentacyanonitrosylferrate in the presence of tetrahydrothiophene

► Cadmium pentacyanonitrosylferrate (CdPCNF/GC) film as sensor for tetrahydrothiophene (THT). ► The anodic peak currents of CdPCNF/GC decrease in presence of THT. ► On the film surface occurs a precipitation by a nucleophilic attack between THT and CdPCNF. ► The electrode can be recovered from successive scan in electrolyte and drying in air.
