Detection of insect-damaged vegetable soybeans using hyperspectral transmittance image

► Hyperspectral imaging system was designed for detecting insect-damaged soybeans. ► Four statistical image features were extracted from the images for classification. ► The support vector data description was used to develop the classification model. ► The classification models achieved a good overall classification accuracy.
