On-line detection of eggshell crack based on acoustic resonance analysis

► An on-line system based on digital signal processing (DSP) was developed for eggshell crack detection. ► Different effects on the frequencies response signals were investigated. ► A simple and robust calibration model was built to meet speed requirement of on-line measurement. ► Identification rate of testing eggs was 98.01%.
