A review of how states are addressing placement stability

► Forty-four interviews were conducted with child welfare stakeholders from 33 states. ► States are using are 2-9 approaches to increase placement stability. ► Thirty states (91%) are using 5-9 of these approaches. ► Few states are evaluating whether these strategies actually reduce placement moves.
