Polyamidoamine dendrimers surface-engineered with biomimetic phosphorylcholine as potential drug delivery carriers

▶ PAMAM dendrimers (G5) were surface engineered by biomimetic phosphorylcholine (PC). ▶ The surface engineered PAMAM (G5-PC) efficiently lowered the cytotoxicity of G5. ▶ G5-PC showed sustained releasing behavior for anti-cancer drug ADR. ▶ G5-PC-ADR could effectively enter and inhibit the growth of the cancer cells.
